Phase 2 of The Crane Private Residences is continuing with the building’s elevators now installed and operational with minor snag works scheduled to take place before ultimate commissioning. The team is now preparing to remove the construction hoist in January along with any remaining scaffolding. Back-filling of soil around the building has also commenced.

Basement
Installation of services continued in the basement and tile works have commenced to the garbage rooms.
Level 1
Installation of appliances, towel rails and other accessories has commenced. Externally, the pools have been placed and the plumbing for these has started. The garden areas are in the process of being back-filled.
Level 2
Ceiling decoration has been advanced and mouldings are currently being installed. Tiling to the units on this level continues.
Level 3
Ceiling decoration is well advanced. Tiling in some areas is being completed and will be followed by the installation of kitchen cabinetry.
Level 4
Kitchen cabinetry and closets have been installed in most units on this level. Ceiling decoration is largely complete. Tiling is being completed and will be followed by the installation of door hardware and carpentry items such as shower screens and counter tops.
Level 5
Tiling has been largely completed around the pools and pool decks. Counter tops have been installed and the installation of backsplashes in the kitchens has commenced. Internal stairs have also been prepared for tiling. External painting has been progressed on the pool decks and preparations are being made to install the small BBQ sink area on the pool decks.
